I completely agree with "peace2u"... All of these qualities are important. Religious attributes are the most important. How would any man be able to encourage his children to learn, without having a real thirst for knowledge himself? Religious knowledge is important, as is the knowledge we gain at school and university which is not just about learning facts and figures in a particular subject... it's learning how to THINK. Without the ability to think and question, how would we be able to understand the religion and read the Quran? Educating yourself compliments your religious attributes... don't you agree?
I think religious attributes, his ability to hold down a job, education (not just degree wise). Family background is important to me because I would like to know how he was raised and what kind of environment he was raised in, family views and values etc.
